Default OK, kind of new to these forums. What do all of

the abbreviations mean. DIY, FAQ, and so on. I try searching for these and get all kinds of different topics. Can some please explain how to use this site? Is there a place that all of the DIY's and FAQ's and such are listed or is it just something to search for?

Default DIY=do it yourself, FAQ=frequently asked questions

DASBYAADQOYWGFACAN=Do a search before you ask any dumb questions or you will get flamed and called a noob. Actually, I just make that abbreviation up. . .

Default When you're done with that, there will be a quiz (inside)...

(Courtesy of Cup-a-Chow)

"Just make sure you check the TBB often and make sure the BPVs or DVs aren't stuck. You can
replace the TBB with a bipipe but you don't want BOVs to replace your BPVs! You'll want a
set of 710Ns instead of Baileys as they are expensive. A lot of people like their E-codes but
I'm personally not a fan. We don't talk much about AW over here although companies like TW
who sell nice DPs are both on AZ and AW. Always use G12 and not just water as you'll screw
up the mix, and you may want to look into a UUC SS and a GIAC X. Their IBE is pretty nice but
then again, APR's EMCS has it's merits also. People loved ABT/AMS before, as well as MTM but
we haven't heard much from them. OCT is making a presence as is Revo but definitely don't
use TAP. Of course, don't forget the Darintake or the Piggie pipes, those guys are pretty
innovative, but don't get into it with the Innovator about the AWE DTS vs. the AS DTS,
especially on AW. Can't forget the VM1, VM2 or VM3 of course, and the AWE Twin or the G2.
The Madman likes the GRB-451s and some people don't like the T1-S as they get loud, but
we all agree that we should have a V1 or a K40 or even an 8500. You may also want to
consider running a set of S03's but a lot of people have been raving about the F1 GS-D3's as
well. S4 guys used to mount these on TE37's all the time back in 2000 and 2001 but HRE is
much more popular now and the vast amount of choices from ER like the RSS and the Fliks
are now available. Don't bet on getting a set of mono10's though as you'll be waiting forever
to get those! Try not to kill your K03's but if you do then you've gotta do K04's! There's
always the SPEC2 while you're at it but you can just do the RS4 instead. If you're going to do
suspension then FK is way too soft and H&R COs are blowing out shocks, even though the
Ultras seem fine, just a bit too stiff. While you're down there you'll probably want to do some
CPP links and DBAs with the reds but of course those aren't totally necessary. And last but
not least, enjoy the S4. "
