Ok...so someone explain to me this...
What are they going to do after the cleanup? I've never been to NY, but the sight of those two towers gone makes me feel as if I lived there.
Are they going to build new WTC towers? Are they going to be the same? What do you think will happen after the rubble?

The Empire State Building is the tallest in NY again so
it has definately changed the scene.
I realy hope they build a bigger set of towers like the joined towers in Hong Kong.

I can guarantee you one thing - they won't just leave it as a memorial like Okla City.
Look at the resolve Americans and the gov't are showing. They're going to build it to the ****ing clouds and make it out of pure titanium.

I would agree with that!
Rebuilding the towers will become a symbolic statement. Personally, I wouldn't want to see a memorial...I WILL remember, and I WILL always mourn the losses of this day. Put those buildings back, catch these f---g idiots, and get on with our lives. I wouldn't want these morons to think for a second that they have the power to make us stop, turn, and direct our attention to them!

They will rebuild...
It probably won't be for another year or two... but they will build a new building.
NYC has just been stripped of it's defining landmark. The towers were a statement of the cities identity and magnitude. It's world famous skyline has been hideously scarred and the city will be a hollow shell of it's former self without the towers.
They will rebuild. Whatever they build, will not resemble the towers... it will be a new state of the art structure, that will stand tall and redefine the cities skyline, and thus identity.
When it opens, look for it to be a major, najor festival... along the lines of that big ferris wheel thing in London, or the sky scrapers they built in the middle of Saudi Arabia.
