Default Okay, so I'm driving a ghetto cruiser...

Yes, talking about the Mustang...
*10 years old
*oxidized paint
*obligatory dent in pass door and rear quarter (sis didn't see the parked car!?)
*never gets washed
*passenger side interior door handle wouldn't unlock the door (until yesterday)
*no passenger door interior door panel (should have that back in tonight)
*siruis radio system installed...in a box in the passenger footwell (power wires stick out and run behind the dash, antenna is casually sitting on the dash...sliding around if I turn too quickly, and the controller is sitting on the passenger seat)
*yesterday a heat shield fell off on the highway :-/ Gonna have to look into that.
*rear shocks are toast (ordered new one's today)
*front shocks aren't blown (yet), but it couldn't hurt to replace them...someday
*radiator is leaking (and not getting fixed until it leaks more)

What I can't wait for...
*exhaust is original (just waiting for it to spring a leak) *sigh*
*clutch is original...beat on by dad and sis for the first 65K of it's life. No telling when that gives out on me.
*no idea what kind of life is left on the brakes...and i don't want to look right now

The only good things about it...
*no oil leaks, and the engine doesn't burn oil...it's solid (whooda thunk?)
*4 tires with plenty of tread
*chicks dig it

Sometimes, having a beater isn't all it's cracked up to be. Oddly, I've yet to be embarrassed driving around in this thing. :-P I'm simply don't give a crap what people think of me and my ghetto cruiser! :-)
