Default Should stay in spec for quite awhile once set and heat cycled a time or 2

Tim ran a solid lifter setup for a year or more and never had a problem with having to re-adjust valves once set and settled.

Off subject, but why did you decide to go solids? To have some extra headroom for the track, or do you need it for powerband? If powerband you must be running a GT40. IME the GT30 is done (as far as HP peak) at 7600rpm on my car and Tim is done at 8200rpm on his GT35. Shrick and Piper both have valvetrain setups for hydraulic that wind with no problems to 84-8500. Just curious as to why you went this way as it is much more expensive. Were you floating valves w/hydraulic?
