Its a tight fit all the way across the firewall but the ecu box catches on the brace and i can't see how to make it fit.
Anyone who has the brace got any ideas? anyone have similar problems?
did yoy file a small groove out of the fillet on the brace or did you cut the ecu boc?
or is there a simpler more obvious way?

I just set it on top aligned the bolts and slowly tightened it down..it minimally pushed into (m)
the box but not enough to hurt it or anything inside. Check before you crush something! I've had mine on for nearly a year with no major problems. If you have a 2000 or newer two things to be aware of:
1) Cover the Positive (+) battery terminal with something like a sheet of rubber (piece of a mouse pad?). Otherwise the bar my contact it and short the whole thing out.
2) The washer nozzles will likely contact the bar and come loose on occasion...I have just poped them back in place (a dozen times or so).
Good Luck!!!

To be honest, I'm not sure, but I don't think the bars do that much in our cars.
I couldn't tell much of a difference on the track. I'm told they do wonders for cars with the traditional Macpherson Strut suspension, but our is a little different and has a dual firewall for stability. Can't hurt is what I said. I'd install it on the ground...putting it on in the air then dropping it may move things and possibly cause more problems than it helps. Then again, I've never tried it so what do I know.

mine just bolted right on..no rubbing. make sure you insulate the bar (m)
with electrical tape near the battery terminals to avoid shorts.. this has happened to someone.

I would think that...
without equaling tension when tightening that it could not be truly torqued. Which should be done.. This sounds right to me for some reason. I asked about it before ?
