Default one Audi = 2 new born babies

Pulled my car out of it's spot this morning and what happens?

my girlfriend was standing next to my car and she started screaming like a little girl...A mouse ran out from under my car dragging behind it an umbilical cord, at the other end...a mouse not more than seconds old. The cord broke and the mother ran away leaving the baby. Upon further inspection we found another very new born mouse.

The mother must have hunkered down under my car last night to hide from the rain and gave birth minutes/seconds before I moved the car. I scooped up the babies and placed them in the grass (they were chirping/crying). Hopefully the mother came back for them since they were gone when I came back...if not, something ate them.

As much as I hate rodents this was kinda depressing...not much else I could really do, because there was no way I was going to take care of wild mice.

Checked under the body (of the car) and under the hood for signs of a nest, but nothing.

Default could be worse

I had a friedn who had an old buick which had sat in a field for a LONG while, well he goes one day to start it up, its turns over a few times then kinda shudders and dies, he pop'ed the hood to find blood everywhere, and fur, LOTS of fur. Apparently what had happends was a cat had had kittens under the hood and they were all nesttled in the belts and fans and as the car turned over, well you get the idea, he estimated about 6 cats where under there.

I still feel all sad after hearing that story, I think Im gonna go hug my cat now
