One of the rear speakers in the bose system is making

my entire rear panel rattles.....
cuz i broke one of the clip that holds it down, but thats not the pint here. yes the bose speakers are self amplified making it similar to a sub (hence the bassiness).

Ya, the rear deck bose speakers are open air subs.
There's a crossover on the amp which restricts mids and highs from going to those speakers. You'll notice that on music which has no real base you won't hear much of anything coming from the rear deck.
I am getting that rattle too. I took the whole deck appart last weekend and again this past friday. First time I dynamatted thinking that would solve it. Nay. Friday, I just removed a speaker and held it in my hand while it was on and it still rattled.
It seems to be a blown speaker.
Both rear speakers have a problem, but the passenger side one is the worse of the two. I have an appointment this friday to have it/them replaced under warranty.
