Default Ordering my Borla Exhaust tonight, any other place Cheaper then AWE Tuning??
I have a 2001.5 1.8tq 5 speed, ready to send in my $465 to AWE tuning tonight, but was just seeing if anyone else knew of a cheaper price! Trying to save as much $ as I can..

Realistic HP Boost? I was told +15 HP, but I'm thinking that's a little optimistic...

Default That's about right. You have to remember that the increase is not across the board
Exhausts don't actually create any HP -- rather, a well tuned exhaust will have less losses than stock.

You should see a good 15-20 HP around 5500 RPM or so, when the losses are highest, and you'll notice marginal increases as low as 2000 RPM.

Default 15-20 hp is a liberal figure for an exhaust that isn't 2.5" all the way through
I would say more like 8-10 peak hp.

Default Well, I'm assuming with a chip, and it certainly feels like at least 15.
Regardless, it's quite different, and remember, size doesn't matter......
