I'm assuming your father is safe and no one was hurt?
Tell your dad to take it to North State Auto Body on Green Lane in Bedford. I'm sure you know where it is. That place overcharges everything, he might be able to get it totalled. They wanted almost 7k for the repair of my A4 when I got rear ended couple months ago. C&D in South Hackensack ended up doing it for more than 1000 less. The other insurance paid so I really didn't care who did it as long as it was done right.
