P.S. Claybars rock my world.

I used Meguiar's, but i got it from a store that sells proffesional products...
Pep Boys carries it, but a different brand. You have to spray your car with the quick detailer stuff then rub this clay bar all over it. Much easier than waxing. I had a buffing machine on my hood, and it couldn't get the sediment to smooth out, and the claybar did it in a few seconds. I am muy impressed.

OK, newbie... ;-)
Squirt some of the liquid detailer over a couple square foot area. Rub the bar over it lightly. If you rub the bar over a dry area, some of it will come off on the car. You don't need to use much pressure; you're just trying to lift the grit out.
About every half panel or so, fold the bar over (so that an unused part is on the outside), and smush it out to about its original size, so you aren't rubbing the crap back into the paint.
