I'm running the standard K04 file for use with a 5 bar FPR. Granted, the temperature is only about 70 out, but after repeatedly beating on the car the highest inlet temp I saw was 37 celsius (not even 100f). This was over a number of days.

Aside from the temps, is there any other reason the intercooler is needed? Doesnt the PC-16 file run less boost anyways? I'm at ~18-22 psi right now with these temps.

it also needs exhaust, 310cc injectors, 3 bar FPR, or an adjustable FPR down to 2.6-2.7bar.
its an aggressive file and without the intercooler...it will pull timing as you run hotter and hotter.

psi doesn't mean much...its more about airflow then what PSI you hit. i run 21-22 when it hot out as the air is less dense...tonite it was 59 degrees and i only got 16psi tops in 3rd and 4th. so you can see how ambient air temps affect boost.

correct it works without it...its just not the optimum way to run it.
