I just got tha color
I was not wild about it at first, but bought the car anyway and now I like it a lot. I have NEVER seen another Audi in FL with that color...so its nice to have such a rare color. Car looks even better now that I tinted the windows and once I get 17" rims on there....then it will look killer. Of course, I at my current rate, I will never get any 17" rims...I just cant decide!<p>Christian J. Long

"NOT SEEING THEM AROUND,SHOULD TELL U SOMETHING.
NOT A VERY POPULAR COLOR !!!!!!!!"
Using that type of LOGIC, if you want to call it that, Paying EXTRA to get one should also tell you something....

It may be crazy, but..
I bought my Pelican Blue 1.8t QTC (opal grey Ambiente interior) sight unseen--and I'm thrilled with it! Spent a year looking, reading all the magazines, and following this excellent forum. Never saw Pelican Blue at any dealer. Although the popular colors (silver, black, Santorin blue) are great, I wanted something different for my first car (I'm over 40). 2nd choice: Hibiscus red.

Nice rack setup
How much and where did you get them. I've got a '98.5 28 p. blue Avant and need to get a set to carry two bikes. I'm blown away, though, by the prices I've seen for Thule and Yakima -- approx. $400 for the whole shebang. )FWIW: We just got married -- the honeymoon nearly sucked our bank accounts dry!)

It looks like Chevy Blue to me
I was very interested in Pelican Blue at first, and couldn't find it at a dealer. When I finally did... WOW, it is bright. Kind of like a Chevy Cavalier blue, but more flourescent (I was hoping for more of a Malibu Blue, but no dice). I decided to go conservative with Silver (black interior) which suits the "carved from a block of aluminum" look of the car. I would look at one in real life before taking the plunge. I would say it is definitely a color for extroverts. I have had a number of red convertibles, but Pelican Blue was just a little too bright.
