Default Are people paying around MSRP in NW & Cali?

A4s are expensive. Not many dealers in the NW, the car is in high demand, and they don't seem to bend much on the price.

Is this what you all are finding or am I being ripped off as I plan to pay just below MSRP on my 2001 1.8T Avant (fully loaded)?

Thanks
DJ

Cori! I'm looking for an '01 1.8TQM. What dealership did you go to? Bellingham, U District? Fill me in.

Did they have a lot of new '01s?

Default Because Oregon -- No Tax - wondering if paying more

I am wondering if they know they've got me because I don't pay taxes so saving the 8% anyway? Also, only 2 dealers that I know of in Oregon.

Shouldn't matter though
DJ

Default Go to the University Audi dealership.

The University Audi dealership (U district). Ask for GREG DYKE (I think that's his last name?). I got my 2000 about a month ago, when they were getting rid of their very last 2000 1.8T's. And I haven't been there since .. so I don't know what 2001's they have in stock.

Stay away from Barrier in bellevue .. they will RIP YOU OFF! I almost bought a white 2000 1.8T...good thing I stopped myself because they would have ripped me off! Make sure you go into a dealership w/ the invoice (with all the features added so you can compare w/ the dealership invoice).

I haven't been to the Bellingham dealership, but it doesn't hurt to try! There's also a Tacoma dealership.

Good luck! =) Let me know how it goes!
Cori

Default In CA you have to pay CA sales tax even if you buy in OR

In the bay area there is a high demand, but very few are paying MSRP. Usually the first offer from the dealer is invoice + 7%. I would think that most people here pay invoice plus 5-8%
