Which performance exhaust for 1.8TQuattro, & Tip trans? Borla or Neuspeed?

the borla doesn't suck, sheesh
For $466. the Boral CANNOT be beat. The sandblaster sound is NOT a unverisal issue. It's a quality control issue, and can be fixed.

only options for a system with downpipe are Brullen and Borla

Brullen is the better system.
You can fit ANY other 5sp quattro system onto your car MINUS the downpipe. So that means you can fit an APR or Milltek w/o the DP. Stratmosphere sells the Milltek w/o the DP. APR doesn't AFAIK.

no, any exhaust gets noiser under a bridge, thats from echoing
The sandblaster sound is that the exhaust sounds like a sandblaster all the time. Its a quality control issue when the tips are welded to the muffler. You can get the tips replaced with nicers one, have a new muffler set to you, etc. There are options if you get one that sounds like that.
Many people have Borla's with no sound complaints like this what so ever.
