philips xenon upgrade malfunctioning
Well since there aren't too many of us with the xenonshop/spp Philips xenon upgrades I doubt I'll get too much help with this problem but I might as well check.
After 7 months of flawless operation, last night when I turned on my headlights only the left one came on and my trip computer gave the headlight malfunction notice. I checked the fuse and it is fine, even swapped it with the left one and still the right headlight is out, so it is something more complicated than that. I haven't had the chance to take the housings out to inspect, but the light bulbs are supposed to last a long time so I am guessing I'll need a new ballast. I'll do a little process of elimination using the good headlight to find out exactly what is wrong and what I need to order, but has anyone had any experience with a situation anything like this? I really don't feel like dropping a couple hundred on another damn headlight but I don't think I'll have a choice, cause I can't go back to halogen.
Thanks for any insight...
