You haven't seen half of the things this thing can do. i highly reccomend Powertoys(final released today),This gives you XDesktop capabilities, multiple desktops with animated moving from one to another, and a whole bunch of tweaks. Also the latest messenger(4.5.01200), does audio/video conferencing, has .NET alerts(traffic, ebay, online calendar which can be integrated with your palm or yahoo calendar, and other goodies. This is just as a start. it should keep you busy for a couple of days. Enjoy!

p.s. here's a pic. Email me if you need help.

With all of that fancy stuff, does the operating system take up more memory / RAM?

Default YES!

This is not for the 64MB systems.....With all of those things running I believe it was at around 140MB. I have 312MB and have my cache limited to 125MB. It has not crashed once in 1 month! I would reccomend 250MB of ram or more, but with today's RAM rpices that should not even be an issue.....

LOL..if that's all you use it for, then you shouldn't even be considering a PC. ;-)

Default Use PC's at work.......need to be able to easily swap files......

besides, I feel that the old "mac's-are-better-for-graphics" rule is no longer compellingly true.

My PC rocks for graphics.

Bear in mind that I am an ex-hardore-mac-user..... I've been doing serious graphics work for years.

macintosh has become an over-priced cult.... I just couldn't justify the price of the harware / obscurity of software the last time I bought a computer
