Pls help cant get them to suck back in i only have hand tools front sway bar

Might be cross threaded. Make sure nut is going on straight. Try to push up on the clamp so you can hand tighten the nut as much as possible.

David, were you able to get this taken care of? If not, I would support the bar so that it doesn't hang on the links (If already attached), remove the clamps completely and hand thread new self locking nuts (I think they are M8?) onto the threads to make sure they are not cross threaded. I have held the stabilizer bar in place with light pressure from my floor jack and a rubber puck to protect it. Definitely install new self locking nuts, getting them from the dealer if you have to. It's cheap insurance. If the threads are bunged up see if you can clean them up with a thread chaser. Good luck!
