pls help: friend is going to buy a b5 a4 2.8 (98?), one possible mechanical problem is..
when it's engaged to a gear (other than neutral)
he can hear a humming sound (not very loud)
the humming went away when he push the clutch, but come back when it's fully engaged
any idea what problem this might be?
