Default Poll: Is there anything you like BETTER about the <98.5 MY A4's?
For example, I think that the tail lights and side marker lights are much cooler looking on the older A4's. I also like the old-style shifter **** much better - feels a lot smaller and sportier.

If it wasn't for that darn 12v that and non-projector headlights, I'd be perfectly content!

(Gomez was feeling a little slow today, and I needed to make myself feel better about driving a '96 12v. That Vortrag conversion is sounding better all the time...)

I like the larger climate control display and the red gauges.

99.5 is my fave. Red gauges + interior enhancements. Too bad no xenons, though.

97 1.8T was the lightest A4, I believe

Sport suspension in 98 and 98.5 cars was supposedly stiffer and slightly lower than newer cars.
