Default i was up till 2 yrs ago :-P
lasted 8 yrs, then had it replaced twice w/in a year. I'm on my 3rd windshield now.

Lasted for 108k or so?

Uh, yeah. 6 year 80k miles. My '83 Jetta, 10 years 200k miles & still didn't wear out

No, replaced it over a two years ago when I cracked it putting the mirror back on.

yes, 170k . really need to get it replaced soon. the whole thing is pitted and has a few chips.
