Default ponder this...

i have a cracked windshied, front wiper to the top far side of passanger side

i also want STi's 4 pod calipers and SS brake lines and pads

cost about the same cuz there's no aftermarket windshield for the car yet, have to get it from dealer

so what should i do, windshield is not leaking or anything, just a crack that's about 2 1/2 feet long

Default move to South Carolina where you get 3 free windshields per year....

it is manditory that insurance cover windshield (or any window) cracks, and brakes. It also applies in other states as well. Parts and labor are totally covered

Default What's your comprehensive deductable?

Have you consulted your insurance company. If the windshield is more than your deductable, just pay the deductable and let your ins co take care of the rest under comp. Check with your agent first to make sure the claim won't affect your premiums.

Default your DEALER should replace it...it should be under warrenty

connie (i forgot her shop's name)...was in your shoes about 6 months ago. she bought her wrx from irvine subaru and got the whole thing kitted with c-west stuff....dealer replaced it for free.

i think her shop's name was bmd motorsports or something..(actually i'm not sure if her name is connie...but i'm pretty sure, i met her about 7 or 8 months ago at a scooby meet)
