Possible solution for ISV stalling problems.
However, when I went to pull mine from my 1996 V6, I found that the unit was loose.
There is a plastic(hard rubber?) block between the ISV and engine. This block had compressed over time, resulting in a loose ISV.
I replaced the three original nuts with stainless steel nuts and split washers, in case it become loose again.
Suggest simply checking to see if the ISV is tight, before pulling or replacing unit. Also suggest checking the torque of these nuts every two years.
