For pre 99 A4 owners - adding a factory lower tie bar helps a lot!
All for $30(australian$) it makes the steering noticably more sharper and linear. It's bolted directly onto the subframe in a different location to 99+ models which have a plate-like thing to bolt to.
I also have a AWE DTS and although it looks very tough and rigid, I only really noticed the better steering response when I added the factory tie bar for some reason.
