Problem!!!

my car has this strange noise out of the engine bay, is like a mechanical sound, like a Supercharger or a Benz Kompressor sound......and the car is acting quite strange nowadays. i can't explain how STRANGE it is, but just.....[

!] and u can hear it when idle too

and sometime when making a turn, u will hear another strange noise, so f**k annoying.

any of u guys know wat's wrong with it??

power steering fluid low/leaking maybe?

how much do u fink this will cost??

i know ppl are selling those timing belt kits, will those work?

Yea, I agree too...mine was low and it made a "zzzzzerrrrrr" sound =)

Just topped off the fluid with OEM stuff

I had a problem like that. I thought steering pump or worse. IT turned out to be that the rubber hood seal had fallen in to the fan and rubbed intermittently. Mechanic put it back in place, no more noise. I should note that Helmut at DM Motors figured this out, but Stevens Creek Audi couldn't.

Check the seal, maybe you'll get lucky.
