problem: changed my old tails to the new tails, and now my 3rd brake light....
always stays on. it gets brighter when i brake, but it shouldn't be on at all times, should it? how do i fix this?

is it possible you somehow wired your regular lights serially into your brake lights? Pressing on the brake would then add more voltage and thus a brighter light.

if i wired my regular lights into my brake lights, where did i mess up?
i only changed the two wires on both tails, nothing else. how could i have brought the third brake light wire into the picture?
