problem with my car
i was driving in bumper-to-bumper traffic yesterday when all of sudden my car started to shake and rumble in 1st gear at about 2000 rpms. my foot was off the clutch and i was a little gas. it did this like 2 or 3 times. so i pulled over and shut it off. then i started the car up and it made some weird scratching/coughing noise.( i have no idea what kinda sound it was) but it started up. i restarted like 3 times and it did the same thing. then i kept going and stopped a little later and restarted the car and no noise.
any ideas??? TIA
