Problem?
Hello guys, I'm new here, bought audi a4 2002 1.9 TDI last week 
Two days ago when I changed from 2nd to 3rd gear when I stepped on the gas pedal the car didn't react immediately like should be the acceleration came with a delay.
But today I experienced very strange problem, was driving 3-4 km's stopped on 10 mins, started the engine again after 20 seconds turned off by himself, started again stepped a little bit on the gas pedal but car doesnt want to move and i heard very strange noise (2 times) like something hitting something I can't explain that noise (knocking) but it didn't sound good and turned off by himself again, started again same problem stepped on the gas pedal but nothing the car was without power turned off and tried again, now the car was ok, stepped on the gas pedal everything was ok.
Any guess what to check etc. ?
Just to mention, last week the car was almost without fuel.

I would start with the simple things first.
Assume you have no lights on or codes for problems.
If you were nearly out of fuel, you may have just picked up the crap in the bottom of the tank.
Change the fuel filter.
Assuming the engine can run, put some injector cleaner in it.
If the problem persists, come back with a new thread and use a title for the issue that explains what the issue is, that way others with a similar problem can search your results and guide them as well.
