Default Problem With My New A4

Hi All,
I notice a srtong odor of winshield fluid in the car everytime I use the winshield washer. I have had the windshield replaced (Damn trucks throwing rocks). The car was so new when the winshield was cracked that I hadn't used the washer before it was replaced.

My question is Do I take the car to the dealer or should I go back to where they replaced the windshield ???

Also is this a common problem on the A4(the odor not broken windshields ). The odor is quite strong.

Thanks,
George

Default Normal...

that factory washer fluid is a mixture of isopropyl, methanol, and about 1/3 water. The air intakes for the HVAC are at the base of the windshield, soooo...

Default I kinda enjoy the smell, infact.......

I use my washer all the time, gives me a cheap high. Better than most drugs I did in high school. I finally know why they called it "high" school.
Snorting Audi washer fluid fumes is the best.

Default Use the headlight washers for a day or two to empty the system

...then go buy the less than $1/gallon fluid at any Kmart or Wal-Mart and you be happy!

Don't dig too deep into this.....
