problem with wiring

Okay.. here's my dilemma.. I couldn't find anyone who was willing to install an aftermarket cd player (sony xplode), so I ended up doing it myself. I couldn't find which wire connected the radio to the "acc"... I'm guessing this is what turns something on when the car is put into that mode; thus, I ended up wiring it straight into the battery. To compensate for that, I put a switch in that turned on and off the connection to the battery because the radio constantly stayed on, for some reason. I was doing this to avoid having a dead battery after leaving the car stationary for a couple of days. I travel a lot for my job, so there are periods of time where I don't use my car at all. Unfortunately, when I came back from a 2 week long trip, the battery was dead. Same happened from a previous 2 week long trip.

Question-- do you think the radio affects this? If so, anyone have any solutions?

I drive a 1998 audi a4 1.8t quattro... if that matters any.

White wire on right rear speaker is "accessory" wire.

Wire that up and get rid of that switch. Also, instead of going all the way to the battery, connect your hot wire to terminal #30 behind left driver knee bolster.
