Problems using the Thule #415 racks on my avant...
I just bought the #415 Thule racks to fit on my S4 Avant Rails. When I installed them I noticed that there is no space to move the front racks forward. The Racks get jammed between the Rail and the Roof of the car.
Does anyone have solution to this? or are their better racks out their, that are as Low Profile as the #415?

If it's not too late, go back and get the Thule 751 - Rapid Railing Carrier
It's a better design and fit. I told them to take the other off the list. It just doesn't fit perfectly.

Another option...
I believe that Greyhound Guy is right, but here's another option. I have those same racks on my Avant and after going back and forth to no avail with my rack supplier, came up with a simple fix. I simply added small lifters made out of bicycle tire tubes under the feet of the rack (i.e between feet and rails). This changes the angle of the clamp and allows the feet to be moved further forward. Sounds a little ghetto, but actually looks fine.
