Programing remote for keyless..

help! please! I ordered the flip key from the dealer and I am trying to get it programed. The dealer was having trouble with it and was trying to tell me that my car doesn't have the correct module in it (which is funny cause they also refused to hookup a VAG tool to my car cause of the aftermarket radio). I followed all the pocedures here on the Tech pages and it is not working. I have hooked up my VAG-COM and looked at the central locks and I can see an entry that changes #'s when I push the remote button. Any one know what I can do to get this to work ??? I really don't want to go back to the dealer since I think they are stupid and they have screwed things up for me before (i.e. I don't want them to get any more of my money!!)

Also I thought that these cars had a transponder chip in them for anti-theft, is that so?
My new key was ordered off of my VIN so it may have been pre programed but it starts the car so...
