quattro CANNOT deny the laws of physics...
it does not make traction out of nothing, it uses what traction is available. Plus it only is functioning when the wheels have power going to them, so unless you were accelerating around the turn, quattro was idle.

Thanks i was pretty sure it was the tires, you just made it official. and just to let everyone know
i don't have this ridiculous notion that Quattro is an almighty savour, i know that it does not give 100% traction all the time, because it needs the rubber on the ground to do that, jut wanted to find out if anyone had any problems with quattro not working. When it lets go twice in a 5 minute span, it's gotta be the tires.
