Quattro Sport Package?

Quattro Sport Package?
As some of you know, I am in the market for a new A41.8T. My local dealer has the one I want on the lot except it doesnt have the sport package. I would like the Sport package because of the 17 inch wheels. If I plan on lowering it anyways, is the sport package really worth it?

I personally wont' have money to lower my A4 for a while, that and I dont' want to deal with the
dealer over warranty and such cuz of lowering etc... so as such my car is on stock sport suspension and it holds the car pretty well to the ground. Not really low not really high, but I'm happy as is for now. So i'd say yes, if you won't be lowering it anytime soon, if soon then no. That and I LOVE the rims =)

I dunno man, go look at some lowered a4's they loook sooooooo much better!
plus go measure/look at the wheel gap you have. to me its pretty bad which is why im getting mine lowered soon!
i think the sport package is worth it, in addition to the rims, the suspension the swaybars are also thicker.

Not if you want coilovers (more)
I have the aforementioned Quattro Sport package. It's nice. It's still a bit luxury-feeling, but it's far firmer than non-sport, and is actually pretty capable. I feel there's still too much body roll.
After being taken for a spin in another forum member's Avant w. the H&R coilovers, that is -the- suspension to have.
I'd ask myself whether or not I was going to do aftermarket suspension and rims. I love the 17" RS4-repro rims on the car, and am generally happy w. the suspension, despite my comments. If you planned to go coilover and rims, I wouldn't spring for the package.

Absolutely, because . . .

not only does it make a huge difference in the way the car handles, it also eliminates any fussing with the dealer over warranty. Besides that, the 17" celebration wheels are just gorgeous.

On the flip side of that coin.
If you're going to plunk down $$$ for mods, you may as well do it sooner than later, and enjoy every last mile you can with your mods.
I'm not arguing, just presenting another point of view.
