question about brakes

question about brakes
has anyone else experienced this?
it seems that my rear brake pads wear out much faster than my front pads. from what i know the opposite should have occured. is it a special case for the audis or do i have some sort of problem. the dealer changed my rear pads already but they say i have 80% left on the fronts. the dealer in keyes audi in vannuys and i have a 99.5 2.8 quattro. all posts are appreciated if someone can give me great information that i might miss please email it to me also. thanx in advance
