i am curious to know if any company makes a cold air intake where the filter sits down by the lower section of the bumper and a tube is run up to where the air box sits now. would this be beneficial? i'm thinking about making one if nobody makes one. that way the filter is nice and far from the turbo and can get a lot of fresh air in. any thoughts?

hmm...didnt think about that. well what if it were far enough in it were safe?

i think i'd want it at head light level.

i should just go with a regular intake, put a big head shield in, and wrap the intake with heat wrap?
