Default question about cold air intakes.

i am curious to know if any company makes a cold air intake where the filter sits down by the lower section of the bumper and a tube is run up to where the air box sits now. would this be beneficial? i'm thinking about making one if nobody makes one. that way the filter is nice and far from the turbo and can get a lot of fresh air in. any thoughts?

Default i'd be worried about getting the filter wet....

if it were too close to front of intake.

Default ok so you're saying..

i should just go with a regular intake, put a big head shield in, and wrap the intake with heat wrap?
