question about wiper blades
i just installed some new PIAA silicon blades. if i take off the "shield" on original driver's side blade, will it fit on the PIAA blade?

im guessing it helps keep the blade down on the windshield at highway speeds.
I was thinking of removing the PIAA blade (the rubber part) and putting that back into the original bosch frame. it looked like it would work. i dont understand why they just dont sell the blade part alone anyway.
or you could just dremel the piaa frame. i think it needs two "windows" for the wind deflector to snap into.
i only looked at this quickly, so i could be wrong.
