Default Not necessarily an '01 ( you suck,BTW) but there was a good post on this....

the post I have at home, on PAPER, so the gods cant take it from me when I need it most!!....
I recall that there are 2 metric allen heads, and a clip. Once this is loosened, the coil pack comes out and up. The plugs come out normally, with a spark plug socket. I think the torque setting on the plugs is 22lbs, but dont trust me!! The pics on the faq or post were not close enough to show the printing on the packs, i am wondering if my dealer put in S4 coil packs when he was chasing a problem, threw in everything but the kitchen sink...and VTEC.

I hope the search function still works....try that.

PS - this is all in good fun, and I still love the site and the fact that we are all friends (at track events)

Default What with the I suck? What'd I do?

FYI - 2001 1.8T's DON'T use allen head bolts to retain the coilpacks. Pre-2001 do AFAIK. Seems as if they are pressed fit into place, just no idea to remove them aside from yanking them off, which BTW, is not a good idea at the moment as I wary about F-ing up my coilpacks.

So, that info doesn't really help me.
