Question: Engine knocking...
Can a bad tank of gas cause engine knocking? Would the problem go away with the next fill up?
I only put the premium stuff in my 99.5 2.8, but ever since my last fill up, it has been knocking. Could the station just had a poor batch of the 92 octane stuff?
Should I take it into the dealer right away? Or wait until my next fill up and see if the problem goes away? Or maybe try some additives?

yes...
I had this happen to me. Shell or Gulf gas station with 93 octane. Had pinging until i got new gas then it went away.
just fill up and avoid that 2-3k in second gear where it seems to occur
