Question regarding Vacuum hoses/lines.
Hello everyone. In the process of removing the EGR valve for cleaning I broke a few things. Can you fine people tell me where the hose indicated by the arrow in the picture goes/comes from and how I can easily replace it? Also I need to know where I can find the t-connector in the picture and what size it is?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Thanks for the input mtroxel. If you have a little more information I would very much appreciate it. I don't want to take off the dash, but from the looks of it, I might have to. Worst comes to worst I will cut off the frayed end of the hose and splice in a new end.
moosefist: I don't know which models do/do not come with that hose assuming you are talking about the one I indicated with the green arrow.

The picture below is from an article in the tech. section called, Heater Core Flush, by TristanP. It is obviously a B5 or possibly a face lift (B5.5) it doesn't have the hose. Not trying to make anyone feel bad but just wanted to point out that there are differences. Hopefully someone can shed some more light on this issue.

Don't appologize. News to me. I got no idea.
But you do have a hose there right? I see it in your first pic. And that means yours is like mine, your heat/AC needs vacuum to run all it's little flap servos.

Thanks for being understanding. I do have the hose in my car as shown in the picture. I am thinking of cutting off the hose about 6 inches or so from the firewall and splicing in a new piece (assuming I am able to find the right connector) because I don't know where exactly this hose ends up inside the car and don't want to tear the interior apart looking for it.
Also mtroxel, I bet your 99.5 A4 Q (indicated in your signature) doesn't have that hose. Can you check and let me know?

I just got home and looked. My 99.5 is completely different. The heater hoses don't come through the firewall there, and it's too late and I'm too lazy to track them down.
