Default Question, sort of regarding Chips earlier post on APRstg. 3 and programming...

I will be buying Silroan's Car late Dec. latest. We only have 91 gas here in Reno, and the car has the 91 program in it along with 93, 100, 104. But to get more power, would I be fine running the 93 program instead of the 91 program while it's cold here in Reno? FYI The average high from Dec. to March is around 45 to 50 with lows in the 20's.

Default I wouldn't.... But some people experiment using other octane progams

The true way to tell is doing a vag-log and see if it's pulling back time. Block 020

Then again apr advises you use correct fuel for each program. I would probably stick with that.

Get some 100 octane and mix with 91 to get 93 for daily driving. Or just run 91 on the street and when you race fill up on 100 straight.

Default What's the altitude there?

At higher altitudes you should be fine. I run the 93 on 92 fuel here at sea level in WA but run the 93 program in Mt on their 91 fuel without issue.

Default I'd try it and see .. but I'd do so season by season and run a Vag log of what the timing pull back

was showing.
