question for those with BBS CHs

did you guys have to roll your fenders with these wheels? mine are 18x8.5 35offset on a 99a4. im on h&r sport/bilstein suspension.

I would think that rolling the fenders is one of those things that tend..

to become practical. When you start dealing with a wider diameter tire in comparison from stock, you can look at rolling the fenders an investment so that you do not tear your tires up.

do you think that only for tires with width 235, or 225 too?

Depends on wheel offset, suspension and drop..sure 235's will need more than 225's.

Tire size and wheel offset and wheel width all play part in either needing or not needing.

If you are talking about a 225 on a 8.5" wheel depending on the tire it may look stretched and <b>may</b> not need it. On the other hand it <b>may</b> need it.

A 235 size tire may very well need a fender roll.

On my 18x8 30 offset I rub with my BFG KDWII 225/40
On my 17x8 35 offset I rubbed with 235/40 but do not rub using my winter 225/45 size.

Just to show you that everything plays a part.
