Default question for those of yous who have intakes...

couple of my friends had check engine lights problems, do any one of yous have that problem too? how can it be fixed.
i want to get an intake too, but know the check engine light will come on bothers me.

and clear codes if you on 1.8t

Default Are these intakes using a tube or just a filter right on the maf?

If the filter does not allow air to be sucked in from area, then more air will flow thru part of the maf sensor. If this happens you will find out that the maf will throw some low voltage codes since less air is flowing past the sensor at times.
