question? you cant put more than 14 psi in a ko3 ... or that what tunning

companies say that are putting but the reason is because it will over heat? so if you get a intercooler can you increase that? this question is for any turbo charger.

I think they mean that the turbo is overspinning and getting high EGT's. The K03 can only take up to

1740 temps after that things start to melt. The problem with doing a high boost with the K03 is you cant run the car at wot for a long time. I use 20psi for drag racing, but I do run a 20psi chip on the street. If you do the intercooler you can add more adv timing because the air charge is cooler.

ok now the question is will companies like apr increase it for you or would you have to buy

tools to alter the chip yourself? and are there kits out there?

APR has something called EMCS which can control modes in the car...

You can have 3 or 4 different modes. For example, you can have valet, chip, and race mode. This is controlled by the cruise control. It's pretty easy to do and takes a few seconds to change modes.
Something that is even cooler is the home upgrade cable link. This allows you to upgrade through the internet at your home. this saves the trouble of downtime, shipping $$, or driving to the dealer. I should be getting mine this week.
