Quick Question?

So if i have no power seats in my 2000 1.8t will 2001 2.8 seats fit into my car or no? need to know asap b4 i make this purchase someone plz shed some insight

You need to add threaded inserts into the floor of the car...

You also need to remove the metal front/center seat rail mount from the floor of the car.

Relatively quick and easy.

Driveline conversion and or engine swaps are hard and time consuming.

so just the rails and im fine does the 2.8 rails fit without surgery? plug and play?

Everything will fit...

...I did it. You need to break off center mounts. Then you'll find 2 (already drilled) holes under your carpet that match your new front seat brackets. You just need to tread them and match bolts. (I used round head allen bolts that fit right in, because 6-point head bolts will not.
If you want to power them, you might get lucky and have existing harnesses for it, I didn't. Had to run new leads and make all the connections, but no biggie.
Oh, Airbag wires might scare you. I had 2 wires in my old seat and 3 in the new ones. No problem either. Just hard wire two of them together (matching colors) and groun 3rd one. Make sure you disconnect the batt. for that job. Done!
