It was not in the manual
Since the manuals are generic and this code is specific to your radio. It was on a sticker. My dealer put that sticker on the cover of my manual (I think).
Hint: look for a sticker or free page of paper (not a page in the manual).

I broke down and went to the stealership...$55 bucks and the radio works again...yippee *&@!# stealership...they didnt even wash it...
And if I was a crook...The last thing i would steal would be a foot long audi stereo with a cassette player...Im sure there is a big market for foot long bose tape players in some third world country..but here in the the good ole USA, I think someone would go after a dvd or navagation unit...and any smart crook wouldnt pay you with paypal..too much of a paper trail..dont you watch CSI?
