Radio noise
I have 99.5 A4(V6, 5-spd) with the 6-disc trunk mounted CD changer. When the stereo is on(any source,radio,CD,ect) and I press the brake pedal I get a click out of the speakers. There also seems to be some background noise coming thru the speakers. This just started about a month ago. Any ideas???

any non stock stereo equipment? is the cd changer audi?
its often caused by adding non stock audio equipment, when you run the power straight from the battery, some stereo systems will pick up a cool accelerating noise too.
i'm not sure about specific braking issues though

Used to happen when my friend hit his 4WD button on his old Subee (m)
What it turned out to be on his was just some work speaker wire that was picking up interference from the electrical system. When he had new speaker cable run by Soundtrack the noise went away.
