...okay, so I'm not sure how much "car related" info has to be in a post on this particular forum, but I need to vent. First things first, I have a fried leaving for Greece today (kind of my gf's sister) and because I have been literally 5 minutes behind all day...I didn't get a chance to go and say goodbye. The reason I was late was becuase I was at Verizon picking up a spare battery and the new bluetooth headset thingy. Okay, so I missed that. Then, I had absolutely no desire to take care of my other errands (get my manuals from the dealer that just came in, pick up my chrome exhause tips, touch up paint, etc). So, I went home.

I am at an intersection near my house stopped at a light (I am the second car back - pay attention, this is the car related part...) and this ******* who was creeping forward in the lane to my right (and too far forward at that) gets nailed by cross-coming traffic)....instant 3 car pileup. Two of the cars spun completely around, throwing off bumpers like they were held on with gum. One ran into the light pole, etc. So, being the good somaritan I called in the 911 call. This 911 lady was all like, blah blah, where are you at...etc. I gave her all of the details, and then she asked me to wait a second. After about 30 seconds she picks up the phone again and is all like, "911 state police, can I help you?" I'm like, "what?!? I was holding...blah blah", then I went into it again and she realized it was me. I then asked her if I should have stayed there, and she asks, "were you involved in the accident?" I was going to ask her if at any point in my story I was like, "then the ******* hit my car", but I said forget it, I said "no" and she hung up.

Okay, that is the fourth accident I have been within 50 feet of in 3 months. Are people less careful? I hate this...I just got my car 5 weeks ago, and I have no desire to have it in a body shop because of some idiot. Anyway, bad day for me. Upset because now my gf's twin is gone, and so she is upset and will be for a while. Plus, I'm at work right now and I have to leave in the morning to take my bro to South Carolina so he can start his masters. Ahem, drive 15 hours on Saturday, fly back Sunday, be at work before 6:00 am Monday.

Whatever, I'm in a ****ty mood. Sorry, I just needed to bitch. Also, a bit off topic (as opposed to the rest), but what is the difference between these from Achtuning:

A4 Non Xenon Euro housings $340/pair
S4/A4 Xenon Euro housings $475/pair

....which one should I get? I will eventually get HID's, but does it make a difference? Is there an actualy difference in the housings? These are the e-codes...correct?

 

Get the halogen e-codes then, around $300 from SPP or ECS Tuning
