No, I looked at S4, and it's great, but the day I saw an M5 move out like a ninja, I determined 4.8- 4.9 sec's was the magic number. I mean the car really moved out like it had an electric motor, it was freakish effortless. And funny the guy, looked over at me like I wanted to race, and I laughed, I was like yeah right.

At this point I'm pretty sure you're on the pipe. For perspective, consider that an A4 is 80% VW Passat.

You're not going to get that performance out of an A4 without seriously compromising other parts of its performance range and for sure you'll have to gut everything that makes an Audi comfortable to drive.

For the money I'd keep the A4 bone stock and get a $7,000 crotch rocket. You'll blast to 60 in two ****s of your pants and keep on going to well over 150 mph.

Also, if you can lay hands on an M5 or an M3 for MSRP I'll eat just dave's beard.

nah, I really went to dealership other day, they can be had for MSRP, in fact, they had a laser red M3 going for $49,000 without about 30 miles on it. What happened some dude buys M3 has it shipped to his place of residence, and decides the car is not quite right for him, so he drives to the dealership "using" his brand new M3, trades it in, and purchase a $150,000 Z8. Go figure?

So, now that slightly used, hell, I didn't know it was used- M3 can be had for $49,000
