Re-installing race seat question
#11
Brilliant! good to know it all worked out..
I had Wedge put some Corbeau sliders with height adjusters because Cobra would in no way sell them, or myself sliders with height adjustability. I have height adjustable brackets for the drivers side and stationary on the passenger side, which is WAY to low for passenger use.
If you could take more pictures of how the Cobra sliders are mounted on the Wedge bracket that would be great. I have a set of cobra sliders for the passenger side, just have no idea how to mount them.

Didn't get any pictures
But this little side view drawing shows the components:
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/3484/bracket.1.jpg">
Blue is the L shaped side mount, which bolts to the top of the slider in gray. The bottom of the slider then bolts to the "U" bracket, shown in red. The "U" bracket bolts onto the ends of the floor mounted bracket (shown in black).
Questions?

Can you drill the side mounts to get the seat lower instead? Assuming you already checked that you
have clearance from the seat bottom to the support brackets as to why you are looking to eliminate the height of the sliders.
If you don't want drilling, check the ebay ones that Maxspeed sells for $29. They mount seats pretty low, so I had to use the 3rd hole up to have seat bottom clearance.

Actually, I did drill another set of holes in the side mounts.
But the inside, rear seat bottom doesn't have enough clearance and hits the slider adjustment. It's hard to tell without just drilling it.
