Reconnecting the oil feedline under the intake manifold.
OK, I had a thread going about removing the top oil feed line on the 1.8t. (The one that goes from the turbo, over the top of the exhaust manifold and connects to the engine under the intake manifold.)
I can't see how I'm going to get that reconnected under the intake manifold without removing the intake manifold. How any one done this? how?

remove the 3 screws for the coolant reservoir and pull it back = plenty of room with a deep socket.
if you pull the reservoir back enough, it'll sit on the manifold.
don't forget to plug the harness back onto the reservoir when you put it back.

I already have the coolant reservoir out of the way. Still not enough room.
And, there is still no room to get my hand or tools under the intake manifold.
How is a socket going to help? You can't get a socket on with the oil line. You need an open ended wrench.

are you 300 lbs with chubby fingers? there's plenty of room. please take a pic of what you can't
reach because there's lots of room in that location because it's the same spot for removing the oil filter.

I'm 150 lbs.
I'm wondering if your set up is different than mine. Mine is a 1997 A4. 1.8t.
My 9 year old wouldn't be able to get his hands in there. I'll dig up a camera.
Does anyone else have this problem?
